DieDestiny-2 community is increasingly frustrated by random drop rates of Raid Exotics. Even after months of Raid Grind many players are continuing to systematically apply the eternal bad luck. The raid Exotics, do not drop many simple. One solution would be the guaranteed drop a raid quest.
With the often lengthy Grind for weapons and items, players should have no problem in principle in a Loot shooter. The desired drop is not always guaranteed. But when it is more frustrating? This question deals with the Destiny 2 community lot. There are players who are really persecuted by the eternal bad luck despite unlucky protection and not a coveted Raid Exotics have, although it up the raids and play down. Several months chasing after an Exotic and then never get it, even has meant that players begin to hate raids.
Is guaranteed eternal misfortune nor fair? It sometimes seems as if the only thing that is still guaranteed by hundreds of runs, continue to have bad luck. Saying that it feels unfair for the ill-fated player after each senseless Run. Especially when you see that almost everyone else has already received his Exotic drop and uses the weapon eagerly.
Destiny-2-reddit constructive discussion is to swing. How fair is it still and how raid quests might be able to solve the problem. Lab coat samurai explained on reddit also why the players start again to discuss the issue. The culprit is partly the associated bad feeling:
Week after week, it feels to me not much better. If it takes really long, I feel like a burden to my raid group. For example, the anarchy I was the last person in my group got. So we scourge of the past have played a few weeks exclusively for me. Every time I did not get it, I thought….. Yes…. Sorry Lute. All around just a bad feeling. They all feel bad for me and I feel bad because Ive wasted their time.
Come then also common LEG team actions to take one before finally gedropptem, exotic engram from the game, the gameplay is pretty much at the end.
This is not a replay value but a misery
Masson011 disktutiert with the Reddit thread. He thinks that if players make as many runs must is a crappy way the players on play to keep.
Find other players. TehColonelMoreland commented in the same Reddit thread: Making more than 40 complete cycles that end in disappointment is not, replay value but a misery.
The splits the community into three groups: The issue splits the community for a long time. Meanwhile, these three opinion groups have formed.
Who has its raid Eros, the whining is inappropriate? A raid Exotic is now time not a guaranteed drop. Live with it and finally play!.
Others have personal experience behind them. They are therefore, in their clans or as Sherpa son LEG, happy to help the players concerned. Even at the 100th Run.
The third group does not play the raids because of the Exotics and is therefore of the opinion that, Exotics should not be the reason to want to play a raid.
Believes the raid not only playing because of the Exotics, is also ReconZ3X. He sees the problem from the developer: If the [Exotic] is the only incentive to play a raid, then you have the raid have a shitty design.
raids are often played just for the Exotics: If you look to play to the fundamental motivations a raid, the raid Exotic is in fact for many the main reason to play the activity. Its exciting, a Raid-exclusive, exotic weapons, such as the 1,000 votes in last desire to receive and a unique moment. Many players often know yet exactly when they are dropped their raid Exotics. After that, the interest is much less high. Often even the normal, legendary raid weapons or title triumphs provide any additional incentive more.
GhostTypeFlygon looks exactly the critical and raises the players in front of Reddit:
[…] If you stop playing a raid after you get the Exotic, the reason is that you do not like the raid. A raid should not only exist to the source to be a exotic. If the only reason this raid to play, is the specific weapon, its a crappy raid or as I said, you just do not like raids.
These creative solutions suggests the community before
The first approach would be a solid RAID quest with guaranteed RAID snowdrop. That this can work has already proven the divinity from the RAID garden of salvation. Even if it is sometimes frustrating with this RAID quest to find a RAID group, the system works. Who does the quest completed and successfully completes the RAID with the additional tasks, gets its Raid exclusive Exotic?
So that this does not mean that many complete such a RAID quest immediately, the player teamaquagrunte in the Reddit thread proposes an intelligent, timed triumph for it:
Add a triumph point on which stands: Join all associated triumphs (except natural collections), which guarantees the exotic. Boom finished. The players will have already made the Raid at this time a few weeks long, nobody can say that he did not deserve […], all are happy.
Xwesutzx agrees to him: I like the idea […] let it be based on your title progress. Every time you complete a [triumph in the RAID], you have a greater chance to get the RAID exotic until its the last thing you need to complete the title, and then it is guaranteed.
Ken-As-Fuck then beats on Reddit as a solution, both an RNG and power-based RAID quest:
If you want to play the gambling, then do it, but if you really want to make an effort, I would do the drop with a group where the exotic is guaranteed for a flawless run. This gives players who have no experience in the EVE, the chance to get it through luck, and gives people who have the ability to play it faultlessly, a guaranteed way to get something that they are rightly earned.
Xiphactis, on the other hand, has a completely different approach to a RAID quest that he proposes on reddit of community and bungee:
I know, maybe I do not make friends, but how about a search, like the necrochasm? I liked this quest very much, where you can find a white version of a weapon and upgrade it step by step and finally have to bring into exotic form by completing Croats ends.
The ideas of the community are indeed interesting and perfect. After so much bad luck, it is comprehensible that the players request for a RAID quest with a guaranteed drop in The Hexenkönigin, the new extension in February 2022, is getting louder.
RAID quest have a big drawback: The essential disadvantage of a RAID quest is that over time less players find themselves who want to run the RAID. This is good for the example of the divinity quests. Here it became exponentially more difficult to carry out the exotic quest as soon as people did their own RAID quest. Finally, everyone would eventually get his weapon with RNG drops and good tech protection.
How do you see it? Does the RAID need a RAID quest in the witch king so that the Eternal Tech has an end? How do you find the proposals from the community? Should Bungee consider that?
