This research presentation presented the results of the ‘Game User Panel Study’ and the ‘Game User Clinical Medicine Cohort Study’, which attempted longitudinal investigation and observation, raising questions about the existing game user research frame centered on game over-immersion, addiction, and side effects. do. The first presentation will be ‘2020-2021 Game User Panel Study’ and will be led by Professor Moonseok Cho of the Department of Public Administration at Hansung University. The study will be conducted for a total of five years (2020-2024), and this result presentation will deal with the research results on the change in game behavior types and behavioral characteristics of game users who participated in the first and second years of the study.

Next, Professor Han Duk-hyun of the Department of Psychiatry at Chung-Ang University will present the results of the ‘2020-2021 Game User Clinical Medicine Cohort Study’. For this study, brain MRI (structural and functional abnormalities), intelligence tests, interviews, self-report questionnaires, etc. were conducted and analyzed for about 100 adult (university student) game users and middle and high school game users over 2 years. did.
